When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this solely to create and maintain your Rysome account. We do not request access to any other Google services.

We also collect data you provide directly: plant photos, collection details, profile information, and any content you post on the platform.

How we use your data

Your Google account data (name, email, profile picture) is used to authenticate you and display your identity within Rysome. We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google user data to third parties unless required by law. We do not use your Google user data for advertising or any purpose beyond providing and improving the Rysome service.

Google Limited Use Disclosure

Rysome's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate Rysome (hosting, database, authentication). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy obligations. We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent use.
